This is my signature because I'm told I should have one even though I use my real name as my screen name.

No kidding. Hard to say when the ascent of Crown started, but this show was definitely a catalyst. Great hornline, well-presented show.

the year I fell in love with their hornline. Rough around the edges but they grabbed me at Allentown that year.

I agree with you. This show (to me at least) is when Crown's current identity kind of crystallized.

Ever since then, it's been impossible not to wonder what sort of wonderful innovations what would happen next.

I loved this show. Then, when I was faced with surgery for what doctors feared was cancer in my spine, I watched this show a lot before the surgery. The result was good and this show will forever be etched on my mind as helping me through a difficult time.
And I agree with others that this was the first show to hook me as a Crown fan.
