chris ncsu Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Well, BD does seem pretty teflon with their prop use. Why not hulahoops... Can we get some giant Slinkys, too? Quote

mikespeed Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Blue Devils 2012 ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXv2ay5fw2o How ABSURD! And do I hear a bit of a trumpet solo from Apollo 13? Hope they expand on that! Quote
N.E. Brigand Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 While I generally don't enjoy amplified vocals, I wish BD would use them in preference to samples. Quote
SCTuba Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Blue Devils 2012 ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXv2ay5fw2o Wait a minute......I just saw Blue Devils tubas.....with ACTUAL drill? Like, in the form and stuff instead of off on a tangent? Me gusta. Quote
Kevin. Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Blue Devils 2012 ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXv2ay5fw2o Very cool! I wasn't sure how to feel when I heard about the hullahoops, but I actually like em! Quote
whitedawn Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Blue Devils 2012 ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXv2ay5fw2o Funny... you can just FEEL the crowd itching for something to cheer for and it just never really comes, other than the first big hit, the drum solo, and the end bit. For me, the standstill recording of this worked a lot better than the whole show. 1 Quote

mingusmonk Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 (edited) And do I hear a bit of a trumpet solo from Apollo 13? Hope they expand on that! Would that be the "Morrison Mania"? Horner composed the Apollo 13 music, and Tim Morrison played the trumpet theme. Edited June 18, 2012 by mingusmonk Quote
