Just a word to the wise: Delicacy = Cr@p that no sane person would eat.

I was at the exact market in June and my photo is identical to what was posted.

Let me tell you one thing...the smell from the scorpions and bugs is...okay, I won't mention it.

Suffice to say, this would not go over well at drum corps shows, or at Regiment's food truck.

cool... but here's where we probably DON'T need any future pics Mike for illustration. It's ok, no pics, Mike... NO PICS of your daughter eating the Beijing multiple fish concoction on her stick to be submitted on DCP, ok ?

That's why I didn't post that one!

Rather than eat, I prefer to read. Here is my favorite bookstore in Hong Kong.

ORIGINAL JOKE (i.e., a photo) WAS REMOVED/EDITED.

Replaced below by Martin I. Zing.

OK. I get it. How about this one? I read where Lisa Lampanelli wants Penn State to move the Joe Paterno statue to the main library on campus to remind everyone to be quiet.

That is...if they actually HAD health inspectors in China!

It is actually an open-air market in Beijing. I have some other pics of equally as 'ewwwy' stuff-they-call-food my daughter took in 2011.

My daughter just came back from 18 days in Japan...one thing she did eat was an octopus-on-a-stick with a quail egg inserted into its head...

My son just moved back from Japan and he said that octopus-on-s-stick is fantastic!

But then again he will eat anything.......
