JamMan
Cadets 2008 Vesuvius! 200 bpm and higher right after the last narration to the end.
footform
1973 Des Plaines Vanguard in the Racine, WI show. Finished almost 2 minutes before the gun went off. Bass drummer got a bit excited off the line. Really cool judge comments when we came racing out of the fog backfield, though. Yes, aware that was unlikely to be the OP question. charlie1223
200 bpm and higher right after the last narration to the end. Large step sizes and fast direction changes too!
duhurhurrr
I've always loved the end of the opener in Cadets 1997 (start at 1:55 to get the effect):
fsubone
From an actual tempo standpoint, that tiny portion of BD 2009 when they hit 234 would win, followed by BD 2004. I believe they clocked a 216 at one point? After that, I think Cadets 2008 is above 200 bpm, Crown this year topped that, SCV 2010 at the end of their opener was at 204, and Cadets 2005 got pretty speedy I'm not exactly sure what the OP meant by fastest? Tempo-wise, or fast tempo mixed with hardest/biggest drill moves? BD 2009 was at 234, but it was crabbing at around a 16/5-20/5, no not flying around the field, but their feet were flying. Cadets and Crown were flying around the field, but their tempo was a bit slower than BD.
