We invite all prospective members and friends to come and enjoy the day with us and see for yourself what we are all about. Bring a horn/drum, bring your mouthpiece/sticks, or simply BRING YOURSELF. Come on down, sit/play, meet the staff, enjoy some refreshments, and just have a good time. cvayda
Fran, We are pumped. We have had 2 rehearsals so far and Slaughter is gonna be a strong number for us. 30+ years since this LarryK/HY combo chart was last heard. We are working our magic to include the on-field warm-up and still stay under the 18min DCA clock rule. If we can play this like the 81 corps, IT'S GONNA ROCK !!!! gsksun4
No ... as far as I know we only have spots open at the bar ... Andy, do you recall the indoor practice facility I think in Union City, early 75? I think it was a legion hall with the standard bar and pool table. Phil Perry wasn't marching then but was always there playing pool. The hall I think had a stage, but I'm not sure. Fairly big, as the horn arc had plenty of room. I do remember my brother and I driving back to L.I. thru the Lincoln Tunnel which wasn't that far from the hall.

That was the Salderini Post in Union City ... and you're right - it was very close to the Lincoln Tunnel ... Sky moved there in 66 and stayed through the early 80's ... and, correct again - it was a good size hall with a stage ... the bar was downstairs (as in most Posts) complete with pool table and some duckpin blowling lanes until around 69/70 ... :-)
