I just got a message that my virus protection (Avast) blocked a trojan horse when I entered DCP from google. Has anyone else seen this?

Sorry, probably should have been in a different forum location.

Could be that a site that hosts avatars is infected so it pops up as this site. This was just a problem at another site I visit. Forget which image hosting site but it’s now banned from that site

Oh yeah, it’s way infected, can’t even get here from google, a redirect takes you to a spam, malware website, have to type the url into the browser

I'm not seeing any problem here. If you all can give us specifics on where it is happening (failure point, ISP and version, page, popups, ad banners, etc ) we'll investigate further. More info the better. Send it to the support mailbox.

Here is what Avast shows:

URL: http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php?ipbv=g=js|>{gzip}

Threat: HTML:RedirDL-inf[Trj}

It happened when I clicked the redirect to the World Class Forums through a Google search using Firefox.

following up - Sorry all, but I have been unable to recreate the problem and don't see an issue on our end.

Unless someone can offer new information or specific details for us to work with/kill the specific ad, we'll park this for now and have John Donovan look at it upon his return in January.

We have no control over "redirect to the World Class Forums through a Google search using Firefox." links. The link you noted is not generated by our system, so I have no idea where it is coming from. As JohnZ said, we don't see a problem here.
