nukeme70 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 What is a really good mouthpiece to use playing G contra? The one you are most comfortable with. I prefer the old standby of the full-size Helleberg...served me well for a couple decades now. Quite a few people I played with were happy with the Loud MPs: http://www.loudmouthpieces.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1820 Quote
McLovin Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 Well right now I have a Denis Wick 2XL (classic) and a Jettone Helleburg and another that I'm currently using. Neither of them gimme that "sweet spot" of comfort while playing Quote

euphplayer115 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 You can do what I did to find a Euphonium mouthpiece for myself, go to a store with an extensive mouthpiece selection and see which one works for you best. Dillon Music is a fantastic place for that (assuming you live in the central NJ area). Quote
