alankarls
We all had great performances and stinkers. There were good audiences and dead ones. What was your favorite all time audience and favorite all time crowd reaction? I'll always remember the standing ovation my corps got in Roosevelt Stadium at 1966 VFW finals. Nothing like 30,000 people screaming under covered stands. I get chills to this day.

When we formed the sign and pushed to the stands an ocean of flashbulbs and cheers greeted us from the audience at the show. I still remember that and get chills myself.
KeithHall
1976 NT Open Class A contest....we won and beat Peterborough Krescendos after they beat us 2 or 3 times previously. The crowd loved our show!
bass5
For me it's a toss up between 1975 DCI finals when I marched with the Scouts and 2006 semi-finals with the Scouts Alumni project. Both were WOW moments for me and both crowds went absolutely nuts.
rayfallon
84 Bayonne in Montreal... loved it... Sunrisers, maybe Providence in 1976... Hurricanes - Bridgeport lots of years, but Franklin Field in 1981. Archie - Dream in 1978 (Boston) Crusaders - Foxboro Quarter-finals 1994 Crossmen - North Carolina 1991 (wish I could think of the city - great crowd) Boston Senior - Harrisburg Farm Expo in 1999 or so - place smelled like manure but crowd loved them - also the Forum in Harrisburg with Crusader Senior. Yankee Rebels - 1996 I think - Parkville HS Dixie Stinger when they did the 25th anniversary of Requiem for an Era... OK, those are the ones I was around for - I'm sure there are more if I could jump-start my old brain... One that WASN'T my corps? 1975 Sky at the Dream... never forget it... those guys just about blew the place down. Amd 1984 Garfield, everywhere they stepped on a field... simply magical... 83 too...

Legolaus
1985 DCI Championships in Madison-I marched with the Scouts. The first time we marched into Camp Randall stadium the crowd went nuts! I have never heard a crowd as loud as I did that night. Thanks for the memories.

Hey Ray ... if you liked Sky 75 at the Dream, then you would have gone bonkers over the 71 and 72 corps at that mythical show also ... two for the ages ... :-)

Byy the time I got out and saw the show at Hofstra in June '74 I couldn't figure out what happened to my activity so I drank the rest of that summer, and joined Sun in September.
danguernsey
There were many, but 1973 CYO is one that is etched in my memory--a top three moment. Others include 1975 DCI finals and the 2006 Alumni Corps at DCI finals.
