jjeffeory
No, because Ohio State sucks. Michigan's show this week involved giant laser displays, so they clearly upped the ante on that rivalry. Oh really? Was that from Drumline?
garfield
Degree of difficulty was probably much higher with the Michigan show, since they had no frame of reference for timing, since it was dark on the field. Pretty hard to see a drum major or lines. I'm surprised it didn't tear every bar. Ugh, No. Never like VK. Sorry. Loved VK. Love OSUMB. Pretty different. Thanks! Good show. Still love the Quad Script Ohio though... Degree of difficulty? Most directors have their hands full managing just one band. (Especially when 100,000 fans are helping you "keep time" by clapping!) fsubone
Just wait until November 30. Then we'll see who comes out the best. Already made Notre Dame cry, but I'm sure they do that regularly.

Two things we can agree upon: 1. Just wait until November 30. Then we'll see who comes out the best. 2. Notre Dame cried regularly...
MadMenMom
Saw the PSU Blue Band for the first time this past weekend! Such fun! Not drum corps - but still very entertaining.
LoveKathyG
Stanford did a tribute to the Irish potato famine at Notre Dame and a tribute to OJ at USC. There is no question about which college band is VK's legacy. And BTW, this ND alum says both UM and OSU can take a big bite out of my buttocks.

CrunchyTenor
Can you guys take this to Marching Band Planet? This thread made me throw up in my mouth a little. Especially the comparison to VK part. Garry in Vegas
