Crossmen 2014

Does anyone know if Chuck will still be writing for Crossmen? I saw that he is teaming up with Jason at Colts. I also hope that they announce a brass caption head soon. At this point it looks like Colts, Pacific Crest and Troopers are going all out to challenge for a top 12 spot. I am afraid that without the right changes in brass and visual they are going to struggle just to make the top 16.

Man it would be incredibly hard to see Chuck writing for both Colts and Crossmen... that is pretty close to an untenable position, and he has always seemed to be a classy guy.

Personally not seeing it, and agree with you that this corps I followed all year and liked a lot may have lost the strongest part of their staff in the brass people.

Listened to a couple Bones Hour pod casts and Naffier wasn't mentioned. But they did say that Tim Green is staying on as percussion caption head, but that Lee Beddis WILL NOT be writing for them in 2014.

Who is left on the design team? I would have hoped that for the 40th anniversary of the corps some program ideas would already be underway. As a fan I am concerned that they are now behind a lot of other corps just on the staffing side. Like I said before they needed to address the visual package and now it's brass and percussion designer. I don't like the way this is starting to sound!

They could always ask Hannum for percussion arrangements. He's a Bones Alum.

Same with Hopkins; yea, he definitely will tell you he know's a lot about show designing.

There are a lot of Bones alumni currently teaching/designing/judging. Doesn't just have to be the Texas band crowd, does it now?
