From Facebook:

"ENTRAPMENT!"

Following an incredible 2013 season, the Hawthorne Caballeros are back with the next installment of high energy, heart pounding passion that can only be the Caballeros. With a continuation of their 2013 program, the Corps will take you on a journey of Seduction and Pursuit fueled by the character and Hypnotic energy of the award winning Caballero Colorguard. Led by program coordinator Cliff Bialkin, the 2014 program will feature original music by Key Poulan and Rob Ferguson, and will be visually brought to life by drill writer Drew Farmer and colorguard designer Bobbey Biddle and Matthew Hurley.

Enter the world of the Temptress, as the Caballeros bring you "ENTRAPMENT!"

Chops Inc 2014:

BE YOURSELF

We are a community, a social environment where we demonstrate how everyone can be different and still work together, understand conflict resolution, get along and have peace and harmony. Using the music of Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46, we present the Chops Inc. 2014 repertoire. (Movements are played in reverse of traditional performance order – it’s okay to take a different path)

Part 1: The Individual – “Hall of the Mountain King”

Part 2: Working Together– “Anitra’s Dance”

Part 3: A Conflict Materializes – “Death of Ase”

Part 4: The Resolution – “Morning”

We are extremely excited to be returning to the field. Please join us for our Open House on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Harding High School in St. Paul to be a part of the summer season with Chops.

The Kilties have announced their repertoire:

Mvmt. I ("The Call") -- First Suite for Military Band by Gustav Holst

Mvmt. II ("The Road We Share") -- "Molly on the Shore" by Percy Grainger

Mvmt. III ("One Family. One Heart") -- "Perthshire Majesty" by Samuel Hazo

Mvmt. IV ("The Gathering in the Great Hall") -- "Scotland the Brave" by Anonymous*

*CorpsReps says the composer of "Scotland the Brave" is one Steve McDonald, but I don't think that's right.

I've added Fusion's show "Dreamscapes" to the list.

Our eyes grow heavy, our breathing – more regular. Our body temperature drops. We are slowly slipping into hours of unconsciousness where images and emotions pass through our minds.

This isn’t some science-fiction story – it’s a dream.

Fusion's Design team, led by Show Coordinator Rob Watson, is pleased to announce their 2014 production entitled Dreamscapes.

Join the Core as they take a journey through the evolving world of dreams.

Fusion's guard will mesmerize you as they set the stage with the iconic “Brahms Lullaby". The dream then takes off with Robert Sheldon’s “Rhapsodic Celebration”.

As the Core travels deeper into the night their signature brass line will sweeten the dream with their big, lush sound in Anthony Newley’s “Pure Imagination” infused with the classic “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, by Harold Arlen.

Fusion's percussion will get your heart racing as things quickly turn dark and you fall deeper into sleep to face your biggest fears. "Dies Irae" from Verdi’s requiem, will take us into a twisted side of imagination and show you just how powerful dreams

can be.

This show may be about dreams but it is sure to keep you wide awake, waiting to see where this dream will lead!!!
