The 2013 DCA mini corps Champions Ghost Riders from Parts Unknown and the Bugler's Hall of Fame are proud to announce the Bugler's Hall of Fame Buffalo Regional".

The show will be held on April 5th, 2014 at the Sikora Post on Payne Avenue in North Tonawanda, NY and begin at 1PM with an old fashioned individuals and ensemble contest featuring some BHOF members and members from many different groups. There are some great soprano, mellophone, baritone, percussion soloists, duets, trios, quartets, and small ensembles. These will judged and non judged exhibitions. There are still openings for individual and ensemble acts, but we already have many great performers already signed up to play.

After the individual show, there will brass ensemble competition, mini-corps competition, and exhibitions by MANY alumni corps including:

The Ghost Riders mini corps

Mighty St. Joe's Alumni

St Joseph's Reunion and Brass Ensemble

Hamburg Kingsmen Alumni

The Hitmen

The Niagara Militaires

Cadre Percussion Ensembles (2)

Tri-Valley Brass

Parkside Avenue Brass

...and others that haven't confirmed their application

Having the show in the form of Bugler's Hall of Fame shows is something new in western New York state. Admission to perform and bring your group or individual act should go through the Bugler's Hall of Fame website and is simple to apply. Any and all proceeds will go directly to the Bugler's Hall of Fame so the fraternity can continue to operate. Go to www.buglershalloffame.com to download the application and send it in with admission costs to Anthony Convertito

If you would just like to attend and reminisce your war stories and listen to some Old (and New) School Drum Corps type acts, please attend to support the Bugler's Hall of Fame. Admission at the door will be a mere $10. It would be tough to find a show of this caliber anywhere for drum corps fans on a Saturday afternoon. Because it is being held in an American Legion Post, there will be adult beverages and food available all day.

If you have a group that would like to be a part of this, just go to the website and apply!
Donny

Great stuff Donnie!

Still out in Texas so won't be able to make this year's show, but next year for sure.

Going to go over to my son's house and play trombone with him (tuba) and my grandson (trombone) and start to get in shape.

Thanks for taking the good word to the Great White North!

In order of appearance - Oceanside Legionnaires; Sunrisers; Bridgemen; Archie; Hurricanes; Archie again; Hurricanes again; Sun again; The Joe Schultz Cadets from the Lower East Side; Boston Crusaders (Jr. & Sr.)
I know I left some corps out... My memory isn't what it used to be... either is my lip.

Yes Tom...Thanks for helping out with this! Tom will be announcing the show!

We have secured some very excellent judges, and the acts keep on coming in. There are no other drum corps shows anywhere in western New York that will give this much talent, fun, and drum corps fellowship. This is a don't miss opportunity!

You will hear BHOF members Jeff Gibbens, Dave Martin, Donny Allen, Steve Cooley and more... complete with the 2014 DCA World Championship mini corps, The Ghost Riders, former DCA Brass ensemble champions The Hitmen, Mighty St Joes Alumnni, St Joes Reunion Brass Ensemble, the return of the former DCA finalist Hamburg Kingsmen as an alumni corps, The Niagara Militaires, Scout House and Cadre percussion ensembles.

There are 6 soprano individuals so far, 5 mellophone individuals so far, 4 baritone individuals, 2 snare drum individuals, several duets, trios, quartets, and small ensembles including Parkside Avenue Brass, Tri Valley Brass. LBD...(Little Black Dress) plus exhibition performances from Bugler's Hall of Fame members.

Since the location is in an American Legion Hall, we won't have to go far for the party either.

April 5th 2014...Sikora American Legion Post, North Tonawanda NY...individual show begins at 1 PM...the show goes until it is over.
