scout bugler
I found this bugle at flee market. I would like to play it. The open valve on bugle is like 1 and 2 harmonics on a b flat trumpet. I cannot match the low note when piston is in its lower than A it may be a D ore E that is lower than the A the next low note is B like 1 valve harmonics on trumpet valve I am using a b flat tuner . I am a boy scout I know scouts played piston bugles I found a music and bugling merit badge book 1938 in book a picture of scouts playing this bugle at national jamboree . Can some one please help me Thank you Edited March 26, 2014 by scout bugler
HornsUp
Post a clear side view picture of the bugle, I can then identify what it is and tell you what pitches it can play.
