DCAfan85
I don't know about you guys but I want this season to start already so I can see some of these shows. I've been hearing a lot of good things out of quite a few corps
rayfallon
So humor me, because I'm old and have been away from the East for a while (working in Texas). Did they ever find a decent field for the show in Wildwood, or is it still everyone sitting no higher than about 12' from the field. Great area for drum corps, but historically with Bristol RI, the worst actual venue for a show I can remember. I won't be at all surprised if you tell me they're in a multi-zillion dollar stadium for the past bunch of years, like out here.
ajlisko
Nope ... still Maxwell Field ... but, a redone Maxwell Field ... not sure what the stands look like ... :-)
Fran Haring
Nope ... still Maxwell Field ... but, a redone Maxwell Field ... not sure what the stands look like ... :-) Much better than the years of the AL/VFW States shows there.

ajlisko
Good thing they didn't have a live feed going back to Kelly's and the Horseshoe in those days ... LOL ... nobody would have been in the stands ... :-)

grenadasmoothie
Nope ... still Maxwell Field ... but, a redone Maxwell Field ... not sure what the stands look like ... :-) These days Maxwell Field's bleachers a a good dozen & a half or so rows tall. Even if you're sitting in the front row, your butt's probably over four feet off the ground. From as low as the first couple rows, there's a nice view of the big color-changing Ferris Wheel on the boardwalk

Heh... a couple of years when I was with the Manville Crusaders... we were on so early at the AL States show that the only people in the stands were our chaperones, and the ones of the corps on after us. And it was almost a capacity crowd!!!
