This wood snare drum has an solid aluminum top bear edge that cannot cave in, just like the Mapex Quantum HT Snare Drum has. Snare system has horizontal and vertical controls with 12 snares, just like the Dynasty and Mapex marching snare drums do. The drum covering has yellowed and cracked just above the some of the lug casting as you can see. Design for j hook style drum carrier, tilt tubes on back. The lug casting have been modify to take higher tension. Top head is a used Remo Falam 2 and used Remo Falam snare side bottom. The drum has been waxed and cleaned and ready to play. This snare drum in a non free floater design / traditional style early 90's marching snare drum. Asking $130.00 not including shipping.
