DeanInChicago
Am I the only one who has been salivating for MONTHS, waiting for a first drum corps fix Saturday, June 21 in Plainwell, Michigan? It's a general admission show with $25 tickets sold at the gate. Blue Stars, Colts, Colt Cadets, Legends, Pioneer, Spirit of Atlanta, and Troopers. This performance has been propelled from Paw Paw to Plainwell. Plainwell is north of Kalamazoo on route 131. N.E. Brigand
Here's the lineup: Colt Cadets Pioneer Colts Troopers Spirit of Atlanta Blue Stars Legends In another thread, it says Legends, the hosts, will only be performing standstill. NOAA says 30% chance of showers. Local radar looks clear now, but there's a blob of precipitation moving east through Wisconsin.
N.E. Brigand
According to Legends website, gates open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. (that's Eastern time). A narrow band of rain is halfway across Lake Michigan, with the larger blob about an hour behind that and seemingly taking at least an hour to pass through a given location. BozzlyB
IMO after last night, this is Blue Stars show by 2 points.
BozzlyB
With that said, everything is kind of meaningless until there is a full panel. DCI needs to get their #### together and have a judging system that is consistent the whole season.
