rayfallon
Don't be silly. Everyone loves trombones... Didn't see them write "76 Flugelhorns" for "The Music Man" We trombone players love them especially. Shires, Bach, Schilke, even the new Yamahas. I assume you mean folks don't like them on a drum corps field... That is a whole different issue. But who doesn't love trombones? Q What do you call a person that stands quietly holding a trombone, not blowing into it?
Northern Thunder
Q What do you call a person that stands quietly holding a trombone, not blowing into it? Somebody holding his bone? I too am a trombone player. And I've held my bone many times.

Bannedforlife
Q What do you call a person that stands quietly holding a trombone, not blowing into it? Somebody that could be doing at least a million better things with their time.

hostrauser
But who doesn't love trombones? Richard Strauss. "Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them."
HornTeacher
But who doesn't love trombones? Probably the street marching judges who lost their front 3-4 teeth while they were looking down, madly marking the ticks on their clipboards. (Don't laugh...I've seen it happen.)
wesleyrp
Woodwind players hate trombones cause they normally have spit valves emptied on them or slides in their backs.... Brass? Naw we love em, maybe not as much on a drum corps field
