Boston Crusaders 2015 - 75th

Recommended Posts

All the kids did a great job in the rain last night. Boston had a little Blue man group going on last night with the water splashing in the air off the drums in the beginning of their show very cool effect. The guard was insane / impressive in the rain with all those high tosses. Vocalist just outstanding Like all the changes that were put in (drill horn line etc) sense the last time I had seen them live at (Fox). Should move up from their placement from last year.

Minus the colors mixed in.

Added the powder effect with different colors.

One of the best and funniest lines heard after BAC received that absurd penalty for the minimal use of simple Johnson's talcum powder in the Quarterfinals in 2013...... : " Powder to the People !! "

IMOP Cadet doing the same stuff that BAC Did in 2014 . Do not understand why the scores are so high. Over all music design and drill design/ guard much better than cadets. Go back and look at the overall design. UP top cadets are a mess with wind mill and the black uni are out to lunch.

2 shows left before Indy. Things look good after Allentown. Nice position. Nice number in relation to corps above and below. Great opportunity to move up more. The ONLY focus at/during rehearsal now is overall performance and "selling" the show. Clean on the move. No time for breaking down large show segments. There should be no holding back, no equipment glitches, no electronic glitches either. The corps has made great improvement over the summer. There is more to be had and it would be great to prove to all that underestimated the corps they could succeed in what is undoubtedly the single most competitive season we have ever seen, top to bottom. Incredible year! Eat em up Boston. Don't hold back. It's not how BAC rolls.

No. Cadets overall Show Design is a whole complete level higher than that of Boston's. Judges think so, and they have it right this season in this regard, imo. There's no value in being in denial, emc2. That said, Boston has once again come back strong the latter part of the season within their pecking order of World Class Division Corps. They were out of the Top 12 for awhile there, now it appears they are solidly back into the TOP 12 Finals once again. Only 4 Corps have finished in the Top 12 every year once making the Top 12.. SCV, Boston, Phantom, Blue Devils. With the Corps just outside the Top 12 seemingly getting better each season, thats no small accomplishment, imo. Hopefully BAC can build on this strong finish to this season to have a good off season regarding staff, retention, recruiting.

IMO go listen to s10 that RG arranged vs what cadets did this year IMOP BAC takes it ( along with the windmill ). No effect what so ever with the black change. Yes the judges have had it this way for the past 20 or so years. what ever be nice have a great day DNG.

Dateline, somewhere in Western PA.

I guess there's an APP for playing the judges comments, so after listening to five of them last night (not my smart phone), you can read "between the lines", one judge doesn't like the show, and the other four said the corps is there, just work on the impact points, and a couple of staging issues, which may not be changed (position of the stage) because they might impact other areas. Lemar and crew spent all of a day at Milton HS painting the stage with a landscape type theme on the perimeter. At A town, the back field lights basically bleached out the appearance. That should not be an issue at Indy. And as someone mentioned after combining the A town scores with the same judges, they are about .8 out of 8th I believe, with (this person's opinion) "more to clean than the corps just ahead of them." The corps is focused and motivated to make their move.

A great competitive season within groupings. This last week will be very exciting, and Pete Rozelle would have been proud.

Gotta go, ESL is in full operational mode.
