You won't see us in Rochester, so we're sharing our final perf

Recommended Posts

While DCA is gearing up for their biggest weekend of the summer, we've already concluded our summer season and successful return to the field. It was great to be back, and we're looking forward to bigger and better things next summer! To close out the season, we'd like to share with you the one returning corps of 2014 that you won't be seeing in Rochester.

Here is the final 2014 performance for Chops, Inc. Drum & Bugle Corps, in exhibition at the Drum Corps Expo in St. Peter, MN. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing the video- looks like you have a firm base to grow and develop the corps from- I hope I'll eventually see you live in the future!

The exciting part is that over 80% of the corps was rookies, many of them brand new to drum corps in general. Lots of fresh faces to help build the next chapter of Chops.

I'm pretty sure the last time we had this many rookies, either flat-out or percentage-wise, was 2004, and, well, look what happened the next year. . .

Thanks for watching! Hopefully we can bring the corps to a show near you soon.

Some day... if I had the money and time, I'd go out to Racine for Drum Expo, take a tour of the Johnson Wax Building (Frank Lloyd Wright appreciator), and see the show. but I did the research and I think it's 800 miles from here. GAAAH! :satisfied:
