Change of mood with Shenandoah. Baritone and mellophone soloists featured during this selection with the rest of the horns playing backfield.

Pit interlude playing Amazing Grace as the horns do some body work with the guard performing interspersed among them.

Horns back in playing a chorale version of Appalachian Spring, trumpet and mellophone soloist on either side of the field trading off the melody.

Horns finish the song backfield, many behind the back hash, getting a great sound off the back stands.

Basses open the next section with a difficult role. The rest of the drum line, which was out during the ballad, comes on the field as well and performs a solo.
