84BDsop
Was kinda wondering tonight....where would George Zingali have gone had he not gotten ill and passed....what if he'd outlived Star? In 94 and onwards....who would he have written for? I can't see him going back to Cadets, as other drill writers had taken over.Nor can I see him at some other corps (Cavies, for example).Where could he have gone and what impact could he have had on the program? 1977Kingsmen
I think he would have ended up with Crown.
Lincoln
He was working with Blue Knights in the early 90's - in fact he was there the first time they made finals in '91. Check out the drill on the FN if you can. The show was wonderful and the drill is so Zingali. Who knows, maybe he would have worked with them again or any number of other groups. Oh wow I never knew that. I knew Jim Prime had written the brass book for that show but I had no idea Zingali was also involved!
DeanInChicago
When Spirit (of Jackson State University, at the time) honored George Zingali with a flag in one of their past shows, that was a lump-in-the-throat effect.
SpenceriEuph
I imagine he and Marc Sylvester would have stuck together as they had in the years he was alive, which would include corps like the Cadets, Blue Knights and the Colts. tesmusic
Would Star maybe have stayed on the field?

MINOR correction: Jacksonville State University. (Home of the Marching Southerners)
Tobias
Not sure he would still be writing drills with the evolution of the activity. I see him more of a design consultant with maybe some input in drill. Would fit in well with Cadets, Crown, Coats or may have jumped in with Cavies. You hit the nail on the head. I certainly believe that he would have ended up working with the Blue Knights for a very long time. Maybe he'd at Crown later on, or maybe he would have retired by now, but I doubt it.
