ibexpercussion Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 This may get moved, and I may get criticized for posting but here we go: If you wouldn't care to watch this somewhat amusing video created by the drumline I teach as part of the Zildjian "My Pit is the Pits" video contest. We are in the process of trying to raise a substantial amount of money to replace old and worn out instruments and equipment. Part of our problem is that we do not receive any funding from the school, or school system, ad all our expenses are paid from our own pocket. If we were fortunate enough to win some money from the contest, it would not cover the entire cost of the new equipment, but would make a considerable dent in the funds necessary. One way in which we can win is to have the most views of our video, and with a school population of only 400, and a town population of only 3,000 we are definitely behind the 8-ball so to speak compared to several of the other large schools. I know some may even criticize me for posting this, but if it helps my students I can handle it. Up almost 1,000 views since then, and moved into 4th place (unofficial) from out of the Top10. If you can watch again, or for the first time, it would be much appreciated.
