Sportster
Used to buy the CD's and even a couple DVD's here/there when the season merits it, but sadly haven't had a season like that in quite sometime. Can't remember the last time I bought the entire CD. Now I buy individual performances. 08' Spartacus, the Cavies successful 007, Machine shows. I'm still listening to the 70's, 80's and 90's shows too, when Corps was Corps. The direction Devils are dragging this activity to me is unappealing completely. I wouldn't pay ten bucks to see that show again. But I do love Crown and that unbelievable horn line, and SCV's percussion. Their show was meh to me this year, though. Even Phantom's was a bit flat. Anymore I'm becoming more and more disappointed with these shows. I've seen better shows at my kids high school band competitions! Now how pathetic is that?? One show that did impress me this season, though, was Coats. Phenomenal!! Edited November 16, 2014 by Sportster

Meechgalhuquot
I have 7.5 GBs of DCI audio going back to the 70's. I regularly listen to anything from Phantom, Cavaliers, SCV, or Bloo

Careful, you'll be labeled a hater for implying that the Blue Devils have the capability to influence this activity in any way.... They're just doing what they're doing is all... I've seen some pretty good marching band show ideas this year. There was this one show that was about Social Networks that didn't make sense musically or thematically, but they used a projector under the DM podium to try and tie everything together... Can't wait to see a corps try that soon....

KVG_DC
I spent some time on the Fan Network last night going through non-finalists shows. I found myself really liking the Oregon Crusaders show again. Even the Colts' show seemed more palatable with all that narration than it did during the season. Either I'm enjoying shows more after having not watched them for awhile or I'm simply appreciating the talent members put out on the field in the activity during a period of withdrawal...heh.
