PitchPitch
With all of the momentum from the very successful 2014 season, and the retention of both vets and staff can you see the Colts making the push into top 12 this year? If so, why? If not, why not?
ibexpercussion
Have to improve their music performance scores, especially in brass and percussion. 2014 Semis- Brass 15th, Percussion 17th, Music 15th Prelims- Brass 17th, Percussion 17th, Music 17th Edited January 29, 2015 by ibexpercussion
MisterA
Last year was a very interesting season. Colts in my opinion were about as locked in to 13th as you can get. They were about 2 points below the level of the top 12, and should have been about 2 points ahead of anyone below them. I thought their show concept and music were great, however the over use of narration may have hurt their music GE scores(again just my opinnion) I thought their hornline had a deeper and richer sound than it had in many years. My guess is that Colts will be fighting with Blue Stars, Crossmen, Academy and Pacific Crest for the last 2 spots in finals. On a side note, if Colts were to make finals, wouldn't it only be the 2nd time in DCI hisory that a corps with a female director makes top 12 in World Class/DI? I was thinking Magic of Orlando was the only other corps to do that?

Staff consistency has been the right recipe for them and I think that will continue to benefit them in the 2015 season. But hey, who knows. spencerg98
I enjoyed their show last year. Didn't mind the narration but at times it didn't feel like it was necessary (or even desired for that matter). I see them doing well in 2015 staying in 13th or perhaps even move up into the top
Cadevilina Crown
I think it will be between Colts, Crossmen, Madison Scouts, and Troopers for 11th through 14th. Edited January 29, 2015 by Cadevilina Crown
31rabbit
i'm familiar with forecasting and the dangerous world of slotting, oughtn't we at least hear what the Show is before we start all that? There was talk that they announced it at their last camp. anybody have the inside scoop? i'm going to continue to live with the pretense that any corps could show up with the right idea and the right talent, blow the standings to hell and Win out of Nowhere. if there's any corps that is Really Good at being enjoyable without competive success, It has to be the Colts. at least the 90's Colts. 93? 95? 97? Hot shows. Colts '93 may be my favorite 12th place show.

Show concept sounds awesome (sorry, can't reveal info) and they have had tremendous numbers at camps (students have been told possibly the best the Colts have ever had)!
