I am currently working on a local marching band doing video work, and I got approval to buy a new camera. i have a couple options -Run Video with Apple iphone5 or ipad and buy an external mic for said device. I've recorded a show with my iphone and it visually, seems to do well, but the audio was not up to par. -Buy new camcorder with external mic I anybody can give me some input on my choices, as well as help me out with brand and model options that would be great.
