I keep coming back to the Jupiter XO 1270. They are significantly cheaper. Is there any reason why I shouldn't purchase this horn? McLovin Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 When I was in college for euph, my professor started me on a King non-compensating (lacquer) and when he felt I was ready, moved me to a Yamaha compensating (silver) which I absolutely loved playing on, so that's what I would reccommend for a compensating horn for now, but I would definitely let his professor give him a horn first to start with.
