rainshdw08
Weather should be beautiful. Umm. Not sure about that. Currently showers and thunderstorms are all around the area. SPC has Olathe in the Slight Category for Severe Weather this afternoon. They are actually in the 5% bulls eye for tornadoes and 15% for wind. I'm hoping most stays east, but won't be able to make that call until this afternoon. Id say a few bigger storms will be in and around the Olathe area by this afternoon. Hopefully it stays away during the show. Official NWS forecast out of the Kansas City is a 30% chance of storms, mainly after 3pm. (after 3 due to daytime heating)
Cadevilina Crown
Sorry about that, rainshdw08. Weather Underground was having trouble loading on my laptop, so I just went off of what I heard last. Just checked again, and you are right. WU is predicting a decent chance of thunderstorms around showtime, especially 8:00 pm.

BlueStainGlass
I've got stars breaking 70 after a couple rehearsal days in a row. No idea if there were changes or just cleaning but a nice score will come out tonight. I can see scv breaking 80 too.
BlueStainGlass
Show day bump. Anyone going?
rainshdw08
A Tornado Watch is likely to be issued for the area here shortly, could set up just south of Olathe too. Factors are coming together to support this threat. Seems as Olathe will be on the northern side of the watch area, hopefully, any storms that do develop, can move south before show time. Stay tuned. dcikon2
I am concerned that guards may have some trouble with the current wind conditions. Hopefully, the wind will calm down prior to the show. We don't want to see any rifles and/or flags taking off.
drumcorpsfever
We go from "beautiful weather" to "tornados" for the forecast for the same day. Sounds a bit like Ohio weather to me.
