Downingtown and Bayonne!

Recommended Posts

Was going to try and make the Bayonne show but, just too much painting going on at home in prep for selling it ... expect some major traffic tie ups with the Pulaski Highway shutdown starting today ... plan for alternate routes ... anyway, best of luck to all in Bayonne and Downington ... I'm sure it will be a fantastic day of competition and exhibition ... hopefully the fans will come out in droves as the season kicks into a higher gear ... anyone stopping at the Venice, set aside a cold one for me ... I'll pick it up on the rebound someday ... almost 8:00 am ... time to start the garage doors! ...

:-)

I hope these shows don't get canceled due to sunny skies

That's been a long-term situation. Or headache. LOL.

Looks like the NJ Turnpike is one of the best bets into town. Exit 14A.

But... like Andy said... plan your route, and leave plenty of time to get there.

Fran, unfortunately the N.J. Turnpike is no bargain either. They are adding new lanes, expanding on / off ramps and adding toll booths. It's a 3 year project. With the Bayonne bridge under construction and the Skyway closed this weekend and being a peninsula it's a horror getting in and out of Bayonne.

It's the same length of time from Jacksonville, FLA to Bayonne as from Clifton, NJ to Bayonne

I have felt that way a few times.
