ajlemm
Every year someone makes a thread about things to do in Indianapolis since several DCPers may go there for the first time this year. It's coming up fast, next week already! I'll be there Thursday through Sunday, and plan on packing in as much fun as possible. Other than seeing awesome drum corps, what are your favorite things to do in Indy? Places to eat? Activities?

chaddyt
There are some good museums around town. Zoo's pretty cool. Can always go up that obelisk thing if you dig heights.

mjyaub
I fly in on wed to have a full day to acclimate. I took a guided tour of Lucas Oil Stadium which was very good. There were preparations for the event going on and you get to walk on field, Colts locker room. You literally go from the bottom to the top. Takes about two hours. Unfortunately I get in Thursday. I doubt they'll be having tours that day!
