Cadets2 2016

Recommended Posts

Former C1 baritone and drum major Zack Travis (West Chester U., now teaching at Norristown H.S.) will be C2's brass caption supervisor according to the published webinar notes given by GH and Gino on Cadets website today.

Zack was well liked during his teaching time for the Reading Buccaneers and rated quite notable thanks they posted on DCP. http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/161172-meet-the-2015-reading-buccaneers-brass-staff/

Last summer Zack worked wonders with C1's baritone section for the time he was able to be with them as well as with C2..

Average age of C2 corps is given as 16, usually between 14-19.

Much more details here: http://yea.org/programs/cadets/cadets/news/1046-recap-brass-talk-with-gino

with guard call-in discussion on Weds. night and percussion on Thursday night. cf. site.

Both corps to keep right foot step off even with new designer for Cadets and Sacktig at Cadets2.

They have said that they will be getting a new style of uniform this year. I hope it is nothing too drastic. Really liked this years show too.

No, it's not drastic at all. You'll hardly notice any difference.

They really should get rid of the age limit this year. It doesn't look good on them, wish the rest of the DCA directors weren't so scared of Hopkins.
