The few events I've been to didn't have any Open Class corps, and I really didn't have any exposure to them. Last year, I purchased DCI Live, since I no longer have a practical option of attending live shows. This was my first glimpse at Open Class, and I really enjoyed some of their shows. So, this year, I'm actually disappointed that I won't be able to see some corps, since they're not attending any shows covered by DCI Live (I'm looking at you, Battalion). Below I've compiled a list of the DCI Live events with Open Class corps in attendance. DCI West - June 26th Blue Devils B Blue Devils C Golden Empire Vanguard Cadets DCI Central Indiana - July 1st Genesis Legends East Coast Classic - July 2nd 7th Regiment Spartans Drums Along the Rockies - July 9th Columbians Gold Golden Empire DCI Daytona Beach - July 12th Heat Wave Legends DCI Minnesota - July 16th Colt Cadets Genesis River City Rhythm DCI Central Texas - July 21st Genesis DCI Denton - July 21st Guardians DCI Southwestern Championships - July 23rd Genesis Guardians Louisiana Stars The Masters of the Summer Music Games - July 29th Music City DCI Atlanta Southeastern Championships - July 30th Heat Wave Southwind DCI World Championship Prelims - August 11th 7th Regiment Blue Devils B Colt Cadets Genesis Gold Guardians Impulse Legends Les Stentors Louisiana Stars Music City Racine Scouts Raiders River City Rhythm Shadow Spartans Vanguard Cadets DCI World Championship Semifinals - August 12th Some of the above, invariably We'll get to see Genesis an impressive 5 times (at least), but we won't see The Battalion, Incognito, Thunder, or Watchmen. It'll be the first time being broadcast for Heat Wave and Shadow (and maybe Columbians and Impulse?). It seems to be a good year for Open Class.
