Jurassic Lancer
I'll be there. This will be live show number three for me! It will be very interesting to see how a visual heavy judging slate will affect the scoring. This could be Crown's night, Edited June 27, 2016 by Jurassic Lancer
Arrowmarcher
I'm interested to see the Crossmen, Blue Stars, and Boston meeting up. They were the 12-10th place corps last year and this is the only time the 3 of them will be together for quite a while.

drumcorpsfever
I'm confused by the early season judging panels. How do they judge brass, percussion, guard? Edited June 27, 2016 by drumcorpsfever
Jurassic Lancer
I'm confused by the early season judging panels. How do they judge brass, percussion, guard? I hate partial panels. It is impossible to get a comprehensive read on the shows. But, the powers that be decreed it be so. And those powers that be, be the corps themselves. BlueStainGlass
I'm confused by the early season judging panels. How do they judge brass, percussion, guard? They don't. They only have 1/3 at a show unless you go to the west coast which seem to always be full.

Ok, makes perfect sense to me!Crown would benefit out of being judged brass versus brass, guard versus guard. We'll see if this show has any significant scoring changes between Crown and Bloo from Massillon. My guess is, no. But, we'll see. And I am anxiously looking forward to seeing Blue Stars and Colts for the first time this season!
