kevingamin
It's good to see Impulse making the trip out from the West Coast after so long.
kevingamin
Opening formation has the drums with their instruments off. Horns are sitting in groups of two or three, facing backfield.
kevingamin
The pit opens the show with "Beautiful Dreamer". This has the unintended side effect of reminding me of the Tim Burton Batman movie from the 80s as that motif was used a lot in that movie. kevingamin
We have a voice telling us what music is before the horns come in. Nice opening statement!
kevingamin
Horns form a front ahead of the field numbers and finish the opening impact. Mozart as an opening impact probably doesn't happen enough.
kevingamin
Nice brief silent drill movement before the horns come back in.

kevingamin
Drum line has spent most of the opener up to this point in the back half of the field, behind the horns and guard.
