6. Madison Scouts - Power, Pizzaz, and All That Jazz! (1998)

Thanks! We had a blast performing that one! Out of the three years I marched (1997-1999) the most talented hornline I was in. Our finals run wasn't our best of the season, that was Friday night, but it was still a blast.

On Finals night, they wouldn't let our buses through so we ran to the gate, didn't get to have a talk with Scott Stewart before, then as we marched on in the double company front, the guy painting lines decided to go back on the field as we were closing in. Needless to say we started the performance a little frazzled. Oh well, it's ancient history and was still a blast!

Just wanted to give a quick nod to you. Such an amazing show (I didn't know about all that stuff behind the scenes on Saturday night). I'm often torn which I like more, '97 or '98. So, congrats on both of those!
