Southwind announced 2017 show with music selections entitled "Strange Things".

From Facebook:

Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps presents its 2017 production, “Strange Things.” Join us for a hypnotic journey through a twisted mind.

The five-act program entrances the audience by enticing the intellect with sweet and seductive melodies (Boyce Avenue's "Wrecking Ball") before hurtling into a downward spiral of frightening dreams ("Rite of Spring"-Stravinsky/"Creep"- Manolakos). Reaching for any form of solace, the mind falls into an intense state of hypnosis (Stevie Wonder's "Superstition"/"Dies Irae" Gregorian chant). With the mind now completely spellbound, the trance deepens through the dark and flowing chords of Yael Naim's "Toxic." Just as despair is imminent, the driving rhythms of Muse's "Hysteria" (along with a reprise of "Creep") break the spell, awakening the mind from the depths of its darkest fears and nurturing it, fully-healed, back to reality.

A reply by the corps to a question on the thread hints at a longer tour, to be announced around Thanksgiving...I wonder if they're considering Indy???

Not sure how everyone is going to like the uniforms, but personally I can't wait to wear it!

Awesome extended tour. I plan on seeing a couple of shows along the way, but can't wait to see SW in Indy.

I'm really excited to see them back.  It seems like they're being really smart, taking it slow, and have waited a few years to return to Indy.  I fully expect they would have made Open Class finals pretty easily last year, fantastically put together little show.  If they improve as much as they did from 2015 to 2016 we could be in for a real treat.
