DCP-I began in the winter of 2004, with a Executive Director with a dream and many corps helping fulfill that dream. The very first shows in the history of DCP-I were on March 1st, 2004. A total of 34 corps competed that day in either San Deigo, CA, Willingboro, NJ, or Whitewater, WI. The first winners were The Gladiators, Phantasma and Buena Vista.

If anyone can remember if there were other fantasy corps leagues in the past (or running concurrently) please tell me. I want to list them all.
