Best Hornline ever in DCI......

Star has had some pretty incredible lines no doubt,but I still cant believe I was part of that hornline in 96. It just all jelled that year and 'we made a good cd' as our staff would tell us to do before finals.

I agree, I think extra votes are in order here.  I think that '80 Spirit hornline is one the prime examples of pure balls to walls rip your face of sound!!   I also think that '96 Phantom was the fullest, richest hornline I have ever heard!! (I really haven't heard that many though.)  I also have to go with the earlier write in vote for Star '92.  ( I can't believe you left that off your list Louie )

Its hard tp pic a hornline that was the best ever. hornlines from different years all excelled in one thing or another. But i think a very good hornline was PR 96. Nice show and not bad looking DM. ;)^

This is a toughie. I was watching some Star this weekend and that hornline they had from 90 to 93 was just infreakingcredible. I rewound the tape several times to hear a lick again and again. They just had it all those years....definately would get my vote but then again so does our 96 line.....I agree with the good Dr., I need two votes  :D
