How cool is that? Drum corps radio.

I listen to it all the time when I'm on the computer.

My only problem with it is that it's mostly jr. corps.

But I'm hanging in there.Hoping to hear more sr. corps.

That depends. Diceman is very good in that it's mixed. You'll hear a 2002 junior corps followed by a 1966 senior corps. All-Brass.com seems to do strictly juniors corps and overplays the 2005 season (sorry, I get ill every time I hear Madison, Cadets and BD).

How did Ron get broadcast rights to those shows? I've always wondered that...

From live365.com:

The recordings that you play in your programs must originate from an authorized source (that is, created originally by the band or record label that owns the copyright), and are not unlawful copies that have been downloaded illegally or obtained from an unauthorized third party. You may include these authorized recordings in your program without further permission or payment as long as you follow the rules set forth by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) of 1998. Live365 has taken care of all U.S. musical composition performance royalties through its licenses with ASCAP, BMI and SESAC, and has taken care of U.S. sound recording performance royalties by complying with the terms of recently enacted. You should be aware, however, that some songs may be written by writers who are not affiliated with ASCAP, BMI or SESAC (including, for example, many songs written by local and international songwriters for albums that are not released by a "major" label in the United States). Such songs are not covered by Live365’s blanket licenses, and you would need direct permission from the writers (or copyright owners) of such songs before including them in your programs. Generally, the liner notes of your CDs should indicate in small print whether the songwriters are affiliated with ASCAP, BMI or SESAC.

also try http://www.live365.com/stations/docfox

its the brass band site on live 365 .. but they play corps also.. along with some GREAT sounding brass bands.... Cadets 05 from San Antonio is on now !!!

He has the drum corps separate from brass bands/ensembles now. I listen to one of his stations when I play BFV in the evenings. There's nothing I like more than blowing things up while listening to a good drum corps show.
