I remember when Rich first showed up on the scene. Let's just say that some of his posts wouldn't have made it through some of the present "filters". ^0^ Speaking of Rich...or to Rich, now...I wasn't implying that consequences don't happen, I was suggesting that the mods use THAT tool as opposed to the overly-oppressive closing of topics. That's all; no more, no less. Like the old days...when communication flowed fairly freely. Granted there were some trolls and plenty of idiotic threads...but it never even approached RAMD. At least it was interesting!

I hear what you are saying, but there are circumstances that vary from thread to thread, and I trust the FSTM's to follow the proper guidelines, which they do 99% of the time. :)

I do think it will continue to improve however. Trust me, I read the CE forum, and if you were a reg, you'd realize if it was the crackdown you say, I can think of 20 posters gone for good....including me.
