  1. Between angels and demons part II ?
  2. I design synthetic turf fields. The issues with "organic" infill include durability and maintenance. Never heard of "organic" infill that using any type of sawdust. Unlike cryogenic rubber, "organic" infill will degrade over time. It also is harder to "groom" back to its original compaction after repeated use, especially for football.
  3. This was early access for people who had bought 2 days Allentown packages for last (2025) season.
  4. I got the email at 11:45 for the 12:00 sale. At least I saw it in time. Got section "R", dead center almost at the top.
  5. Beginning on June 1,2025 companies in NJ, where I live ,with 10 or more employees ,must list salary or wage range and a general description of benefits for all job postings.
  6. Unless I missed it, I didn't see anything that talks about what the job's salary and benefits.
  7. Instead of TS how about Janina Gavanka. At least she knows drum corps. Too bad they didn't have her do "color" for BLL. Her video of "Don't look down" with "Surf" was special.
  8. As someone posted ,right now DCI is the "inmates running the asylum". And the corps like it that way. DCI had no real enforcement power. DCI is nothing more then a scheduling and ticketing agency, not a governing body. DCI serves at the pleasure of the corps. That's never a good idea. Right know DCI seems to be just trying to get through the next season. "Kick the can" down the road and hope for the best. As someone who runs a business, to the DCI touring model doesn't seem financially sustainable. That explains why corps are either failing or dropping "feeder" programs.
  9. Exactly ! Except none of the corps want any type of organizational authority over them. The corps are never going to do anything that takes away any of their control.
  10. I would think that, during covid the corps' expenses would have been a lot less. Rent and loans on equipment should have been about it. I would think at most the corps had a skeleton staff. From my experience, corps are experts at "kicking the can down the road". Hopefully that's changed.
  11. From what I've read, DCI/Drum Corps got a lot of Covid relief money. That's how they survived.
  12. Seems kind of late to be putting this out. I know in today's world you can't be too careful, but I wouldn't think drum corps at Birney Crum would be an attractive target.
  13. Always loved "Land of Make Believe" from BLAST.
  14. For anyone "in the know". Does anyone know if Phantom will be adding their "crest". Looking at their shows on You tube there are a couple of places where it looks like they could put it in.
  15. Usually DCI sells their two night Allentown Eastern Classic ticket packages in early/mid October. Got an email from DCI this morning that they are pushing the date back to Mid December. They say the reason is switching to a new ticketing system. They had to know they were doing for a while. Plus, same venue and seats. Doesn't seem that difficult. Just wonder if anyone else thinks there's more to this ?
