Three of the six Texas events are now on sale already... Do you have any idea if the tickets for the remaining three events will go on sale this month or next month?

Super Mario Galaxyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Fantastic orchestra soundtrack from both games. The one song I'd like to hear from a corps would be the Gusty Garden Galaxy music; perfect for a ballad piece!

They just cut out that passage from the DVD and CD as if it was never there (I haven't seen what happens in the high camera versions though; they probably just switch to multi-camera quickly just for that cut). The cuts from the Crown and Cavies show surprised me, but they actually work pretty well, especially if one hasn't viewed or heard the shows before.

SCV 2009's company front. The first time I was part of a standing ovation at least a minute before the show ended. The moment that made me go, "Oh man, now I HAVE to buy the CDs and DVDs."

I also remember how some people said throughout the season, even at the end, that they would never like Crown's show, despite the excellent performance by the brass, because of its "cheesiness" and other related reasons regarding its Rach theme. Honestly, I only thought the whole "We Will Rock You" stomp-and-clap rhythm was anything remotely cheesy, and look at what show is currently leading in the polls. Unfortunately, my experiences of watching Crown at the TOC Houston show were not that amazing because a lady, about 15 rows or so down from where I sat, experienced a seizure/heart attack (or just plain passed out) during the first half of the show, and it didn't help that I was at the next-to-highest row possible in the stadium, trying to watch and listen to the show over all the commotion and people/medical staff walking up and down the stands to tend to the lady.

The only stadium I've watched DCI live in, being praised enormously by the legendary Michael Boo?! Just another reason to go for 50-yard-line tickets there next summer!

I looked up the Santa Clara Vanguard (SCV) after my high school drumline members called themselves the Tomball Cougar Vanguard (TCV). In retrospect, that was a silly name.
