Hello, does anyone know if seats have been assigned for friends of dci seating blocks in Indy and presale codes sent out?

I know announcements wont become official until after Labor Day, but any smoke/speculation out there?

tonight we didn’t have an usher check our seats but instead a DCI employee came down to our section to advise us that she needed to verify that people in the friends sections had tickets to those seats. Sounds like they are cracking down.

Don’t ever feel bad about kicking performers/parents of performers/staff members/ out of your seat, they know the deal. Just be polite and say that is your seat and they’ll move. You paid good money for that seat especially if it’s in the friends section. 🙂 Also I don’t know what seats ushers are keeping nonticketed members out, maybe the 200 section but I never see ushers checking tickets in the 100s.

The last thing performers should worry about is whether fans like the show or not. No one is being critical of the performers. Being in a drum corps is an amazing experience and they need to focus on that.

Costume change into basically a dress is cringe. If they lost the bottom half of the costume it would be fine, otherwise it feels like they’re feminizing the all male corps.

Check the dci marketplace subtopic in the coming months. People usually have tickets at a fair price.
