Diamante World is very excited to welcome Joe Sowders to their staff for the 2014 season. With 27 years of experience within the winter guard activity as a designer, instructor, adjudicator, and clinician Joe Sowders has a long list of accolades. Joe established himself working with Mike & Mark Miller during their years at Miamisburg High School and Miller’s Blackhawks. He then designed for Northmont High School and produced some of their most memorable productions. Joe then moved to the Pacific Northwest to become Program Coordinator, and designer for the Northern Lights Youth Programs from 2000 through 2006. After moving back to Ohio, Joe has designed for Zydeco Colorguard (2008 through 2010) & Braddock Independent (2010 to present). Joe and his wife Amy live in Springboro, Ohio with their son Nicholas. He is the Director of Marketing and Sales Manager for Fred J. Miller Inc. and is a graduate of Miami University.

Gold Drum and Bugle Corps will be having final auditions for the 2013 colorguard on May 4th and 5th at Laguna Hills High School. DIAMANTE Open will be attending the San Jose, Riverside, and San Diego Regionals as well as the 2013 WGI world championships in Dayton Ohio. Diamante Auditions!!! Saturday Sep 8 & Sunday Sep 9, 10am-5pm @ Montebello High School. 2100 West Cleveland Ave. (We'll be meeting in the Auditorium off of Wilcox Ave) Audition fee is $30. The location for the diamante clinics will be Montebello High School 2100 W. Cleveland Ave. (We will be meeting at the auditorium on wilcox) There is a clinic fee of $20 please come in black dance attire ready to push your limits and have some fun early arrival is recommended to register for the clinics. Diamante will be hosting clinics to prepare for the upcoming auditions for the 2013 season. The clinics will be August 25th & 26th from 10am-6pm and there will be a fee of $20 for the weekend. The clinics are a great chance to learn the audition pieces before the actual audition weekend and also a chance for those who are not returning members to get extra time in front of the staff. Auditions will be September 8th & 9th from 10am-6pm and there will be an audition fee of $30. The location for both events is TBA and will posted as soon as we know where they will be held. We are also having 2 Audition Clinics First Audition Clinic Saturday Oct 2nd From 7pm to 11pm at Montebello High School and Sun Oct 3 from 10am to 6pm at Gardena High School. 2nd Audition Clinic Saturday Oct 16 7pm to 11pm at Montebello High School and Sun Oct 17 from 10am to 6pm at Gardena High School.
