y'all just wait till you see the show if you think Battle Hymn sounds good. :) I'm pretty sure a video will be posted after their first actual judged performances. They will at least be at the San Antonio regional so that's a big step up from last year. They'll get to be in Minneaoplis also to compete with some more open class corps. So happy to see this going on in our home state. The majority of the membership is from this region so it goes to show that Louisiana really does have talent.

There decisions are very smart and actually kind of what DCI allows them to do. There are many factors into being able to attend finals......one big thing is band directors allowing them to miss camp and what not. I would sure allow mine knowing the experience he's receiving. Boring stuff aside, I just got back from their exhibition performance and holy smokes. Just wait!!!! :) Very impressive. Melodic and extremely enjoyable!! Honestly noticeably better than some world class corps.

anyone bought the APD's this summer??? Is it worth the extra for lossless audio or just get the other version?

I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules but I was hoping I can get a suggestion. I need some money and am thinking about selling my collection. I have the whole legacy collection PLUS almost all the years thereafter. What would be a reasonable price for the whole lot???

it shows one of the judges wasn't available....so it was probably the average of some other 2 captions or something. Still wierd

actually 1.4 still a bit bigger than the .1 the night before......but 1.4 is alot more doable than 2.5.

umm let's see here......i know a very talented flute player who marched Cadets for a few years on mello recently and did extremely well. I went to school with several others mainly sax players and a clarinet player who marched corps such as Blue Devils, Cavaliers, and Carolina Crown.....all phenomenal hornlines...oh and did I mention being on lead parts.......so yes it exists even at the upper echelon of corps. This is a non issue...........work ethic and discipline will get a you a long way. Sit back and enjoy another great season of drum corps and take a chill pill and enjoy the hard work being put in by everyone. Go Spirit!! Can't wait to be in Atlanta for memorial weekend soon!!

i don't have time to read through everything so sorry if this was said already. I don't mind a staff member getting excited during their corps performance but what bothers me is when a staff member is watching other corps and bad mouthing them. I've heard some pretty terrible things being said from rival corps staffs.

yes please do because I deperately need the help of their director...I have Jr high kids in my group..and ummm........we have enough problems getting them to know what's left and what's right. LOL

heck yeah.....keep climbin Spirit...hope when we get full panels we don't get knocked down to much. I know Crossmen percussion is bringin the heat for sure. This is gonna be a heck of a season.
