In what way other way than winning the most titles has BD largely defined the activity for two decades? You would have expected to see more corps creating shows that at least incorporated some elements of what has defined the activity. But that's really been the case. What BD does, it does to perfection in most cases. That's not the same as defining the activity. From my perspective corps who've pushed the activity by creating more demanding programs may not have defined the activity, but they have led it. But because I've seen too many DCP discussions over this go off the rails over the years, I'll just leave my original question open for others to supply answers to.
