  1. maybe cadets could do an alumni thing in a few years if someone stepped up and organized it
  2. it was an error, got my tickets later, and there were plenty of seats still available, just not as good as what I got earlier for prelims and finals
  3. it used to be determined by San Antonio, the top 8 from SA would compete at Murfreesboro, so the lineup wasn't set until after SA scores were announced
  4. I thought you should have won, definitely thought it was the better show
  5. yeah he was a great guy
  6. 1988 our soprano soloist in the slow part of autumn leaves had lip issues during the season, he had a huge blister form then burst on him, but he kept playing through the pain and blood everynight we had a show doing his solo.
  7. how many did you buy? I'll be looking for 4, so if you aren't interested in keeping them let me know and I will probably take them off your hands
  8. altitude not withstanding, I would say the upper deck at the University of Maryland for 2000 Finals was straight up from the firld, not sure if it's the highest, but it sure felt like it
  9. yeah, usually they would send an email out saying when the early tickets were going to be on sale, this year they sent an email and said, get your early tickets now. and for those of us who have to plan to be somewhere they can access DCI sites during the day, that email gave us no time to prepare. Luckily I think it caught a lot of people off guard and I was still able to get decent seats close to my normal.
  10. okay, I didn't get to see raiders so didn't know they had a clarinet.
  11. i don't know, the ending seemed tacked on. let's have one of the members get swallowed up by the red chick, how will she catch the member, uh....the member will run out in front of her slowly walking and then fall down and wait for her to get there, works so well in every horror film.
  12. who had a clarinet? I know BD had a soprano Sax and BK had an oboe, who had the clarinet??
  13. Basses will always exist and we will rule the world AyB
