  1. JDG: sold the king mellophone; the DEG mello is still available.
  2. my hope would be to get $200 for the mellophone (the one not owned by the corps is $250); $300 each for the baritones; and $400 each for the contras
  3. am selling off our remaining 2v g bugles see http://systemsxdesign.com/sound/horns.htm
  4. Shenandoah Sound Still has a few 2v horns left, no sops or euphs, but we have some baris, a couple of contras, and I think we have one or two mellophones; what are you willing to pay?.... where are you located? I was about to list a few of these on ebay. At least two of the baris have just been professionally cleaned, and repaired. The K-80 bari currently on ebay is an exceptional deal... historically, ebay 2v bugles tend to go for about $100 for sops; $200 for mellos; $300 for baris; and $400 for contras; al depending on their condition, sometimes more, sometimes less; shipping is what really kills you. 5. off-season is over... I still have horns to sell.
  6. see my post on the marketplace, shenandoah sound has a few 2v g bugles still.
  7. and here's pics of the King Sop... other images coming later.
  8. ok, here's pics of the mellos... Note: all but one are King k-50s
  9. now that I've figured out posting (Contra) pics... I'll try to post pics of the other horns fyi four of the baris are King, three are olds ultratone 2 sops are olds, 1 king, 1 deg dynasty II, 1 getzen I think all of the mellophones are King (k50?)
  10. Both Contras are DEG Dynasty 2 valve; no cases, and show typical wear, dings, and dents comensurate with their age; overall, not bad in comparison to the other two that I have; they look like scrap metal. both need to have a strut re-soldered, as seen in the pics (close-up of valves shows some duct tape on one, a tie-wrap on the other)
  11. we are asking $150 per sop; $250 per mello/Flugle; $350/bari; and $450 per Contra all the sops, flugles, and mellos are in very good condition (for their age); the baris are in good condition, but their cases are worthless; the contras are in poor (but playable) condition and do not have cases plus shipping.
  12. Dick plays on so many different horns, he barely knows the difference. A couple of summers ago, he demo'd a jupiter horn and gave his blessing to the conversion to Bb.
  13. full rehearsal weekend... I'll provide this to you on Monday... gotta dig those out of my basement
