Haven't been to a show all year, so last night at the movies was my one and only viewing for 2009. Some things I think I think:
Not really surprised at Devils victory, but was floored by the spread. I "like" the show- don't love it. My over all feeling was that they were beatable- but after that score maybe not.
Carolina's HORNLINE was worth the price of admission. Show is kind of strange but if I saw it more it might grow on me. The green was a little hard on the eyes.
Cadets are excellent, but where's the cutting edge innovation we have come to expect from them? (AND I DON"T MEAN NARRATION!) I think that is what's missing. Enjoyable though. Outstanding guard.
Cavies have a well put together show. Drill was gorgeous, (as always).
For me, Santa Clara was the surprise of the night. Gorgeous. Didn't expect that.
Phantom was missing something. The half violin (red) that was really a rifle was kind of cool, but they should have had all of the rifle line spinning them. Not red ones, but white ones.
Enjoyed the Blue Stars.
As an old time fan I am pulling for the Troopers. Can't say the Colts aren't deserving of that last spot as well.
