  1. Any chance I could get pictures of the Randall May tenor carrier?
  2. I stopped reading here, and I'm not about to read the rest of the 21 pages. This is the problem. "... mixing for the judges..."?
  3. I'm surprised no one has commented. I was in the next year's DCM All Stars at the Orange Bowl Parade and I'd love to see anything from that trip again. Why don't you go ahead and post the pictures. If I see any Bluecoats I'll post them on Facebook for them to see, if you don't mind.
  4. Please tell me they've addressed this: Ludwigs were junk when I marched. We hated them. And they were freakin' heavy.
  5. I still have my Ludwig quads from 1987. Do you need any pictures of how they were all connected?
  6. Glassmen also used this setup somewhere around 1989/1990.
  7. The only time I "auditioned" was in '88, and all that was, was going into a room with Jay and playing through a few of the warm-ups. In '86 and '87 I assumed that they just evaluated everyone during the winter camps and when the time came to make a decision, they told the people who didn't make it that they didn't make it, and those of us who did make it, they told us that. Even in '87 when I fighting for my life with Matt and Chandler, I never had to do an audition.
  8. We used both the Lexans and Radials in '86 with the Bluecoats and I hated the Radials. You couldn't get any sound out of the drums with them. The Lexans were real nice.
  9. Same comment as in the Marketplace: Please tell me they brought back the Marathon heads.
  10. Please tell me they brought back the Marathon heads too.
  11. Okay, that one was was pretty obvious.
  12. There's three of us in this thread that have it and have offered it to you. I said I had it but didn't know how to get it to you. Phil offered to burn a CD and mail it to you. And Doug asked for your email address so he could email it to you. I don't really intend to be mean, but maybe read the thread and see that you have three offers and take someone up on them rather than coming back on here and keep asking the same question that has already been answered to you.
  13. There are videos recordings out there of the standstill after the Massillon show that were taken by someone in the stands. Is that good enough for you?
  14. How about when someone spells "people" wrong?
