  1. Here is the thing - I live in Detroit and am trying to sell my tickets for tomorrow night (quarters) but I am not going tomorrow. I could drive to meet you within some reason. Unfortunately, I do not not have the PDF copies of these tickets or ai would put them on Stub Hub. The seats are good Section 343 Row 3 Seats 1-2 for $59.00 each anyone traveling from Michigan, North Ohio or from Chicago????
  2. On one hand if you look at the recaps from last night the guys dropped most in one caption - Ensemble Music. The night before they were right behind SCV in that same caption. Take the low score in ensemble music out and you find that the corps is right where they should be. One the other hand if you look at the GE Music scores you will see that Rep and Perf are the same for the Scouts. That is never a good sign for this time of year. The corps that are in the best shape will have at least 2 to 3 tenths of gap here. A tie in GE captions means that you don't have much growth potential.
  3. It's official! I'll be with Kidsgrove Scouts helping my good friend Tez with the hornline. This will be my first trip ever to DCA. Heck, I've been a member of a "dark horse" before;) Add these guys to the list.
  4. Hey Jason, I'm coming over for Drums On. Seeing/hearing the corps will be cool but heck it's June. Everybody is weak in June. I'm coming to hang with you and my old buds. Can't wait to put the jacket on again!
  5. Jeff, Hope to see you at the Cedarburg show.
  6. Sorry for not offering more information. I'm in need of two tickets. I'd like to buy them off of a Madison Scout supporter. Please get back to me if you know of anyone who has a couple of extra tickets. Thanks, Clay Wachholz MYNWA
  7. Hello All, I'm thinking about coming down for finals but I don't have tickets as of today. I'd like to sit in a Madison Scout block if possible. Anywhere between the 30's would be fine. I don't know what the going rate is as I have never been to finals as a paying fan. Tickets for Semi-Finals would be an option as well. Hope to hear from you, Clay Wachholz
  8. "For years the Scouts were a training ground for many many successful instructors who moved on so they could pay the bills." This statement offends me. Training ground?
  9. I've been in the audience for numerous victory concerts given by the Madison Scouts. Quite often the audience seems subdued because they are listening to the music so intently. I know I was;) I'm sure this was the case at DOP.
  10. Brent, I'm getting in touch with the "Milwaukee Crew" as best I can.
  11. It was BE1 playing Canon in D We took 2nd to the Colts after having won four years in a row prior to '89. Colts were great! No problem losing to them. Blame Dan Ritacco for the selection. I told him it would never win. Blame Dan Ritacco :( ! :)
  12. This was the link I was talking about. It was Never Walk in the lot somewhere. Bravo to the 2001 Madison Scout Hornline!
  13. I am so happy that this link is available. I conducted Never Walk that night and it was truely special. Watching and listening to it brought back many memories. I look forward to seing them again soon. My vote...1980 Northstar!
